Of Tragedy and Transmissions

It was a lovely drive...really it was. The promise of spring was in the air and the cool morning was already giving way to a warmer afternoon by the time I got to my compadres along the side of the road outside of Arlington Texas. Rescue One was a success.

That "rescue" was necessary due to an overworked transmission in our K4K van. I had sent Ryan and his girlfriend to Fort Worth to pick up 9 17 inch monitors that K4K purchased at an extremely cheap price. Unfortunately, the transmission of our van paid the price for its valiant effort and with the help of a tow dolly, we now have our van and our monitors home.

Unfortunately again, we are dead in the water without our prime mover. It is going to be cheaper just to put a used transmission in Old Faithful than it is to repair the transmission and we are short about 600 dollars for our efforts.
